Our early childhood program is designed to ignite a lifelong love of learning by nurturing each child’s natural curiosity and innate abilities. One of the first female doctors in Italy, Dr. Maria Montessori, helped launch a global educational movement about a century ago.

She understood that creating an educational framework that respected individuality and met the requirements of the “whole child” was essential for children’s cognitive development.
Her groundbreaking work laid the groundwork for fostering the development of self-motivated, self-reliant, and lifelong learners in all children, from talented to challenged learning. The leading educational reform movement of the present has this as its ultimate objective.

Our teachers at Countryside Montessori are dedicated to working with parents and children to support self-guided growth with development of each child. The philosophy is simple “follow the child,” which states every child is a unique individual who is naturally driven to grow, develop and learn. The educational goals include instilling in children the love for learning, ability to make appropriate choices, respect oneself and others around him and the environment.
